These types of reviews can be incredibly misleading for the average user or manager. Often the result of symantics, one can easlily be led to believe that a "migration" from one system to another is a simple "upgrade" or "update". I'm consistantly hired to come in before, during, and after implementations to make sense of this on the behalf of an end-user. Made to sound easy, This new flex option really appears to be a slight sabings incentive to "migrate" legacy systems (ie. Mp2) to new applications supported by the same vendor of new, more 'strategically' programmed and enahanced systems with indefinate long and short term cost associations. Once sales gets the foot in the door, all hell breaks loose.
